The Analyst
The Analyst read your store. Here's who we are.
If you found this page in your server logs, a Thredline customer named your store as one they compete with. This page says what the Analyst reads, what it doesn't, and how to reach a person.
- Who it is
- The Analyst is Thredline's reader. Apparel brands use Thredline to keep a weekly record of the stores they compete with. When a customer names your store, the Analyst reads it and dates what it finds.
- What it reads
- Public product pages — the same pages a shopper sees. It records which products are listed, their prices and markdowns, and when something sells out.
- What it doesn't read
- Nothing behind a sign-in. It doesn't create accounts, fill forms or buy anything, and it never sees your sales numbers — only whether a product is still listed.
- How often
- Once a week per store. Every read is dated, and a read we can't finish is marked partial rather than guessed at.

Email us with your store's domain and we'll stop reading it. Tell us the same way if something here looks wrong, or if the reads are causing you trouble — a person answers.
